My name is Alan Ogden and I am technical director of UK web hosting company 3DPixel.net. With many years of online security experience I can try to offer some insight into the issues facing today’s security protocols versus the public perception of ‘ease of use’.
As in many subjects, the issue is not one sided. It’s not always about strength of passwords, firewalls and the like, more often than not it’s about the people involved who can be exploited. This of course has consequences in both personal and business spheres.
